Progressive white executives around the nation are scrambling to implement mandatory anti-bias training to educate their employees about their individual and collective sins.
But why don’t they and other white ‘allies’ simply take demotions, in order to open up too-rare opportunities for qualified BIPOC candidates?
White allies repeatedly and tediously perform public acts of self-flagellation. They confess the sin of having benefited from a lifetime of white privilege. From accumulated generations of white privilege.
